Jake is the moderator for the 2010 WMC Online Series, facilitating the discussion of tools and trends in government websites. In his role as Marketing Analyst for CivicPlus, Jake works with city and county website clients to produce Total Cost of Ownership and Return on Investment case studies. He also presents on serveral topics regarding best practices for government websites at conferences and industry events.
Before joining CivicPlus, Jake worked in a domestic and international sales position with a global leader in the idustrial process market. He holds, among other certificates, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kansas State University.

Mike Nelson has been involved in the economic development, marketing and communication fields for more than 20 years, having worked in both the private and public sectors. Mike currently serves as the Economic Development Manager for the Rancho Cucamonga Redevelopment Agency where he oversees economic development, marketing, and communications activities, and is responsible for implementing business attraction, retention, and expansion programs; workforce development efforts and tourism activities.
